by Stuart at 2007-07-23 10:01:22 (News)
The Central England Temperature record (CET) is the longest instrumental temperature dataset in the world, stretching back to 1659. It is available from the Met Office website and is now updated to include current daily information.
The CET graph on the website shows annual temperature anomalies from the 1961-90 baseline, and it includes the temperature anomaly for the year to date. To view the graph and find out more about the data, go to http://hadobs.metoffice.com/hadcet/ .
