Here are the pics from the top of the turbine, I climbed the tower on one rope with an ascender, then leaned back with a 2 metre pole on the top of which was my second rope with a carribiner on the end, I let this fall over the turbine sgaft then put the pole through the carribiner and pulled the loop towards me. then hooked it to itself and pulled so a slip knot then tightened on the shaft. It's alot simpler than it sounds. The scary bit was attaching to this rope and swinging out from the tower. Used the ascender, which is a grip that can slide up a rope but not down and has a sling out of it for your foot, to climb up. You push it up about 50cm at a time then stand up in the strap which brings your waist up near the ascender. you then clip on there with a descender and repeat. Again easier than it sounds.
