Attached is the latest Wind Turbine Buyer's Guide from the June/July 2010 edition, issue 137, of Home Power Magazine. I recommend this guide as a starting point for people who are considering the purchase of a wind turbine.
Ian Woofenden & Mick Sagrillo provide a review of 25 turbines from the smallest with an 8.2 foot rotor diameter (53 sq ft swept area) up to 69 foot diameter (3,725 sq ft swept area).
This is a very useful review by acknowledged experts in the field and contains much other sensible advice for perspective owners.
