Of course, the problem with feed-in tariffs is that they stimulate the market for small renewable generation without directly being linked to behavioural and construction changes that reduce the demand for the energy in the first place. It's a very expensive sticking plaster without tackling the wound. By the way, I'm broadly in favour of FIT's but they're only part of the solution.
