... our new one (replacement for the duff one I mentioned earlier in the thread) seems to maintain an accurate units used tally when compared to the electric meter over long periods, so I've taken to trusting mine somewhat more in the past few months.
Having it around has made me concentrate far more on 'base load' than particular power-hungry devices, the aim now being to get the base load as low as I possibly can.
