i've recently learned of the possibility of using photovoltaic systems to create cheap and clean energy.
i'm considering the option of building a system.

the use of modules and converters is not common around here and i'm trying to learn of the problems i should consider.
i know the whole concept is quite new but i'm trying to understand if the systems i've been offered (sma) are long lasting -i was told of 30+ years of efficiency - or will they lose their efficiency in a few years (5-10)?
any one has experience?
