Today I fitted my car with Continental Premium Contact tyres. These claim to be very efficient and can reduce fuel costs by 5%.
Apparently these tyres have a greater Silicon content that allows them to pass over bumps and stones on the road with greater ease. Thus making them easier to propel
If the figures are to be believed then these fuel-efficient tyres could be a very easy way to get more from the petrol we already consume!
In fact the government should encourage these to be fitted as standard!
Does anyone know any more about Eco tyres
