Feed-in Tariffs (update)
The Energy Bill is currently at the report stage in Parliament, and this afternoon Alan Simpson MP made an outstanding speech in favour of introducing feed-in tariffs to speed the adoption of microgeneration in the UK.

Friends of the Earth has a page where you can email your MP to urge them to support the amendment to the Energy Bill that would introduce feed-in tariffs.
Let's hope the Government takes the opportunity to do the right thing.
UPDATE 1/5/2008
Sadly, and shortsightedly, the Government last night voted down the amendment to introduce feed-in tariffs by 250 votes to 210.
