Condensation on the outside of my windows.
by Stuart at 2007-10-04 10:37:13 (Blog::Stuart)
We have recently had the windows in the house changed, and we fitted Energy Savings Trust recommended ones.
The results have been great. The windows are 28mm with Super Spacer, Argon filled, low E units. The are also so much more air tight, than the old ones. I now realise that for years I have been trying to heat the air as it gently moved through the house.

This morning I saw the Low K glass working (stopping radiant heat from the inside passing through the glass) as the outside of the windows were so cold that there was condensation on the outside as the dew settled!

So far I am delighted with the windows (but not the cost of them)
