I'm trying to pick my way through the minefield relating to grid connections, tariffs, suppliers etc. Initial feed back from Scottish and Southern suggests that we may need to have Half Hourly metering installed. Is that a DNO responsibility, or is it the responsibility of the supplier that we pay our bills to? At the moment they are one and the same, but if we ever get our project off the ground then we might well be changing supplier in order to get the best tariffs for export.
I seem to remember Half Hourly metering being considered expensive and complicated and something to avoid. Is that the case? Anyone here had direct experience?
Thank, Tony S
