It would be very useful if the owners of domestic wind turbines could put their yearly output in KWHs, with their Noabl wind speed and a roughness class, ie the type of environment their turbine is placed in.

So my turbine is a 6kw Proven on a 15m mast. My wind speed is 5.7ms and I am in a roughness class of rural urban fringe 1.5 to 2 See the following link for more details on roughness http://www.windpower.org/en/tour/wres/shear.htm

My output would be estimated between 10,000 to 14,000 KWHs. I will be very happy if I make 8,000.

What are other owners figures like?
