Has anyone installed an EMMA from a company called Coolpower Products?

Any feedback?

This product was developed at a time when Ireland had no feed in tariff, and it prevents any power being exported by bunging in dump loads.

Surely with generous feed in tariffs, converting valuable electricity into heat that you could get from other fuels for 6p per KwHr is a bit obsolete?

What's the application? Quentin.

I'm not so sure. E.on tell me that I can't have an export meter and they'll just give me export payments for half my turbines' total production. This device could be used to dump any spare production into a thermal store or similar.

Of course a GSHP might have a similar effect.
