Looking on the net the Aurora is about 400 quid cheaper so I'll be getting on to my installer about that, anybody any experience with these, should I ask him to change it and fit the Windy Boy?

Hi
The first thing to check is that they are approved by the grant issueing body? There is a list for England outlining what technologies have been approved for grants. I trust your inverter is from this list?

Can I ask why you changed? What was the Aurora like?

I only had the Aurora for a couple of weeks and it seemed very good for information, for example you could program in how much per unit in pence and it would give you value generated etc, it also had a lot more menus than the Windy Boy,

The Aurora was put on to enable me to meet my dead line for my grant and then replaceed by the installers, I thought I might as well have the windy boy as this is what everyone seems to use and there might be more support available for it, also as I said before it is about 400 more expenisive although that in itself doesn't mean its better
