Planning Application for Proven 6kW

What drawings did you include the planning application for your Proven Turbine?
I have been in discussion with my local planning officers about an application for a Proven 6kW wind turbine. They have said that I need to provide elevations of the turbine against neighbouring buildings, a location plan, a site plan and a block plan to accompany my application form.
The block plan seems a little unusual and I can't see the need for it, it doesn't appear to provide any information that isn't included in the site plan? Maybe I am missing the point and so I would be interested to hear what drawings others have submitted with their wind turbine planning application.
Thanks

All the drawings/ plans that the Local Authority are legally required to request may be obtained from the Planning Portal Web Site. Try http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/england/genpub/en/1115314667866.html There is a section somewhere on getting plans for your site off their data base. A small fee is involved. As far as the Machine drawing is concerned, I used the Proven ones in their literature. I took a lot of digital photo's related to my site and superimposed a scale model of the turbine onto them. "Paint.net" is really good for this sort of thing. Good Luck Nigel Wilson -- kinderson |

My planning application can be found on the Lake Distict National Park web site - www.lake-district.gov.uk planning application 7/2006/4107. This shows all that I was required to do. -- Simonridout |
