Multiple micro or small turbines

Combining wind sources to create enough power
For a place that has quite a low wind-speed, would combining the output cables from more than one small or micro turbine create enough power to cross the threshold and create electricity?

Sorry, I forgot to say 'create electricity enough to charge a car battery or connect to the electricity grid.'

If the wind speed is low, it begs the question as to whether wind is the better solution, compared to say solar PV. How much do you need to generate, or is your question theoretical?

You're best off going for as big a turbine as possible, rather than many small ones, because you get a huge increase in power output from a larger unit.

But if your site isn't very windy then you may never pay back the financial (or carbon) cost of the turbine.
