As part of my application I did a "Blue Peter" home made noise assessment. With a sound meter I bought on line. I went out and measured the sound every half hour round the clock as much as I could for three days. I noted the loudest and average noise levels. This was not good enough, but my local council then sent their in house guys with their own equipment to verify.

This meant I got my reading validated for free.

How far away are your neighbours as the noise of the turbine as documented by Proven cant be heard normally past about 30m!
