Re: Best so far - Microtricity @16p for total generated

-It looks that all of the power companies are determined to stick together and sing from the same hymn sheet and pay only the min amount of 3p for exported power. Before I sign up with anyone I have been awaiting Good energys decision which was my last hope of getting just a little more for my export amount. I am sorry to say that they also are sticking with the 3p amount for all new customers, but existing customer will get just a little more, which is fair enough. Ecotricity looks good at first glance but not so good when I worked out the actual figures. A lot depends on how big a percentage of your generated power that you export and how much you are charged by the power company for your imported power. In my case living in Devon Southern Power looks likely to be the best bet just on the fact that their imported power is the best rate for this area. Hoping that my figures are correct I would be £200 better off that using Microtricity. It pays to do your calculations.
