Some may be good to existing customers, but not SSE.
SSE are only offering the standard 9p per unit for total generation, and 3p for exported, whether you opt in or out. They say that as there is only so much money in the pot, that is all they will offer. A drop of 40% from what they paid for exported last year.
On their forms you have to tick whether you are going to accept the guaranteed 3p per unit or opt out. I opted out, but will not get more than the 3p anyway. Lets hope it doesn't become less. Obviously the opt in/out is something for the politicians so they can tick a legal box of their own.
This looks like price fixing to the untrained eye of the man in the street, but I am sure their Legal People know different.
