Thanks PJ. Informal reports like that are encouraging. Its a shame the makers don't provide proper noise data though and I've seen a planning application in Aberdeenshire knocked back for lack of that data (although granted on appeal).

When (if) our plans go ahead I would like to be able to show Environmental Health some proper data. If it can be shown that the total noise is below 35dB at 10m/s wind, then there's no need for background noise surveys at neighbours.
