According to Transport for London website http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/freight/fuel-efficiency.asp Using reduced rolling resistance tyres has increased fuel efficiency by 5-50% on their bus fleet!

That is a great saving, and they should be applauded.

Why are other types of tyre sold if using reduced rolling resistance ones have such benefits. Over time if they where fitted to all the vehicles in the country could it not reduce the total fuel bill by 5%?
