T start and T stop and safety
by Stuart at 2008-03-15 14:57:54 (Forum::Public::Wind)
I have just posted this on the SMA web site and await a response

"On the Windy boy you clearly want a short T Start(10s) and a longer T Stop (300s) to maximise output.

But My turbine and others have the T start set to 180s because of the order to comply with the UK G83 regulations see here on another post. But I notice that after a power outages that my turbine goes in to “Disturb” mode. Where it appears to wait for 3 minutes before coming back to "Turbine Mode" does this mean that "Disturb Mode" automatically protects linesmen for 3mins as G83 UK Regulation demand. And therefore T start can be set to 10s, and still comply with the safety regulations? "

Is this the case with other inverters?
