Find your average windspeed by postcode or OS grid ref (beta version)

(quick and dirty results)

Note: You can achieve better accuracy if you convert a postcode to its OS Grid Reference using Streetmap.co.uk and enter the relevant OS X and OS Y coordinates instead. We strongly recommend that you do this.

OS Grid Reference ( , ) , (accurate results)

Note that these should be the full easting (X) and northing (Y) values in metres and NOT include the OS grid letters (unlike the NOABL tool on the DTi and BWEA's websites). eg Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square in London is at 530025E 180379N, so enter 530025 for X and 180379 for Y.

England/Wales/Scotland Northern Ireland (not yet available)

Note:

This is a beta version, please be patient, and let us know if you find any odd problems.
