The actual output of a wind turbine is of interest to many. I have therefore decided to 'publish' the output of my Proven 6kw turbine each month. Full details of the location can be found by searching for the Lake District National Parkl Planning Application 7/2006/4107. Wind speeds are about 10% less than those recorded for the nearest Met Office observation site, at St Bees Head. While installed on 30 May 2007, teething problems meant that the turbine was not performing properly until the start of October, indeed October's output equals that in the 4 months before!
